About Me
Hello, I'm Alvin
I'm a UX designer, currently working at Zoca AI, building agentic experiences for small, beauty and wellness service providers in the US, and contributing to the design system branding, research and internal collaborations. I care about thoughtful, human-centred design that makes everyday life better.
My design journey began with taking apart old toys to build curious little doohickeys - things that didn’t always work but always brought me joy. That love for making eventually led me to pursue industrial design during my B.Des degree at IIT Guwahati. Along the way, I stumbled upon a newfound love for understanding people and solving for their needs, eventually shifting my interest towards UX design.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me outdoors, watching good films or playing basketball. I've recently started learning piano, and some Japanese from the green owl. I game, I lift, and when time and money allow, I travel too.
